The Lost Loot: The Big Wave

Back at Sharpedo Bluff…

“I’m sorry,” Mudkip apologized. “No time for apologizing,” I said, “Look!” I pointed to a great, big wave that was heading our way. “We’ve got to warn Wigglytuff!” Sparky shouted. We ran into the guild. “Wigglytuff!” I yelled, “There’s a big wave headed towards Treasure Town!” “What!” squawked Chatot, “We’ve got to evacuate!” “Sound the alarms!” Wigglytuff shouted!

Back In Treasure Town…

“What’s that?” Kangaskahn said looking at the big wave. “Don’t know.” Duskull responded. The wave was coming closer.

Suddenly…

“HELLO, THIS IS WIGGLYTUFF SPEAKING, A BIG WAVE IS HEADING TOWARDS TREASURE TOWN, I REPEAT: A BIG WAVE IS HEADING TOWARDS TREASURE TOWN. EVERYONE GET TO THE GUILD! HURRY! HURRY! EVERYONE PLEASE MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE GUILD!”

Everybody started rushing towards the guild. Pokemon stampeded through the door. We all thought we were doomed. We stayed in the guild and waited for the wave to hit. We huddled together and prayed for the best.

The Lost Loot : Mudkip's side of the story

We traveled back to Treasure Town. “Uuuuur,” Mudkip murmured. We ran all the way to Chatot, “Oh my,” he said, “Oh my,” He took an Oran Berry out and stuffed it into Mudkip’s mouth. “Mudkip, please hold on,” Cyndiquil said. Suddenly, Mudkip’s eyes fluttered open. “Mudkip!” we all shouted. We were all glad to see that our friend was back. “W-Where am I?” Mudkip asked. “You’re at the guild,” Cyndiquil said. “How did I get here?” he asked. “We carried you,” I said. “Oh,” he responded. “I was trying to find the-” “We know already,” Sparky said, “You were trying to find the Lost Loot,” Mudkip nodded his head. “How’d you guess?” said Mudkip quizzically. “We didn’t guess, this exploration team named Team Blackfire found you when you fainted and took care of you until we came,” “Oh, Yeah.” Mudkip said, “I can explain.”

Mudkip Confesses…

“Well,” Mudkip began, “It all started when I had a dream that I would get lots of glory because I had brought home the Lost Loot. I woke up to find everyone asleep. So I went to Temporal Tower to search for the Lost Loot. Lapras was awake, so asked him if he could take me to Temporal Tower. He was very weary, but he agreed to take me to Temporal Tower. When I had arrived at Temporal Tower, it was day. I figured you guys would be searching for me, so I hurried on. And that’s when I ran into a Lunatone. The Lunatone’s moves weren’t very powerful but that’s when a Solrock joined. I was outnumbered! I was thinking to myself: 2 against 1 isn’t fair! I fell back dazed. When I regained consciousness I saw an Infernape and a Sceptile standing over me. I told them that I was looking for the Lost Loot for a Pikachu, Treecko, and a Cyndiquil. Then, I fainted.” “Mudkip,” Cyndiquil pleaded, “Promise me you’ll never ever do that again.” “I promise,” Mudkip sighed. “Okay you guys, take care now,” Chatot said. We took that as a sign to leave.

The Lost Loot: Finding Mudkip / Meeting Team Blackfire

The Next Day…

“Treecko! Wake up! Treecko!” I woke up to find Sparky shaking me awake. “Treecko! Wake up!” Sparky shouted, “Mudkip’s disappeared!” “What!?” I said, finally waking up. “We have to find Mudkip!” Sparky said even more franticly. “Whoa!” I said, “Let’s get a move on!” We ran through Treasure Town and asked everyone if they had seen Mudkip. They all said that they saw him heading towards the beach so that’s where we went. Lapras was there as usual. “Hey Lapras!” We said urgently, “Have you seen Mudkip anywhere lately?” “Mudkip?” Lapras said, “Oh, I just gave him a ride to Temporal Tower,” “What!?” We shouted, “Hurry Lapras, take us to Temporal Tower!” “Ok, Ok, no need for yelling. Get on my get back and we’ll set off,” When we got to Temporal Tower, we immediately started searching in the dungeon. After searching for a long time, we came across another exploration team. Their team name was Team Blackfire. The Leader was an Infernape and her partner was a Sceptile. But the biggest surprise of all was that Mudkip was behind them. “Hey!” Cyndiquil shouted, “What are you doing with Mudkip!” “Yeah!” Sparky joined in, “What do you think you’re doing with our friend!”

“We were just healing him,” said the Sceptile. “Exactly!” exclaimed the Infernape, “We found the little guy here when we were searching Lost Loot!” “Lost Loot!” We all exclaimed. “Yup!” the Sceptile said, mighty proud. “B-but we’re looking for the Lost Loot too!” Sparky stammered. “So was this guy over here,” the Sceptile said pointing at Mudkip, “He murmured something about the Lost Loot and about finding it for a Pikachu, Treecko, and a Cyndiquil. “By the way,” the Sceptile added, “Isn’t that you guys?” Sparky and Cyndiquil nodded their heads. “You said you were looking for the Lost Loot,” Sparky said, “Would you like to join us in our search for the Lost Loot too?” “Wait Sparky,” I said, “We haven’t introduced our selves to these girls,” “Oh, yeah.” Sparky said blushing. I stepped forward, “My name is Treecko,” I said. Sparky was next, “And I’m Sparky,” Sparky said. “I’m Mudkip’s partner, Cyndiquil,” said Cyndiquil. “Well, we’re very glad to meet you,” said the Infernape who was impatiently tapping her foot, “Now if you’ll excuse us, we have to search for the Lost Loot,” “Wait!” Sparky called out, what about joining-” “We’ll go our own separate ways,” said the Sceptile looking at her partner. The Infernape nodded. Then, they both took warp seeds out and warped to somewhere else in the dungeon.

The Lost Loot: Hot Spring

I woke up in the middle of the night to find that there was a storm. The rest of the gang was still asleep. I walked down to the beach. I remembered the time when I came here by traveling through time with Grovyle. That was when we had to stop Duskinior. I was so lost in my own thoughts that I didn’t even notice that the storm had cleared up. It was sunrise the Krabby were blowing bubbles again. It was just like this when I met Sparky. I turned around and walked back to Sharpedo Bluff. The gang was awake. They stared at me. I stared at them. Sparky was the one to break the silence, “Where were you?” he asked. “Oh, just down at the beach,” I responded. “I see,” said Sparky. “We decided we were going to take this day off,” Sparky said, “We were going to head to the Hot Spring, want to come?” “OK,” I said. So we set off.

If you’ve never heard of a hot spring, it’s a spring where the water is hot. Get it? Hot Spring. So anyway, we Pokemon go to the Hot Spring all the time to relax. It’s a great way to get rid of all your worries, so we all went. Basically for the same reason: to get the Lost Loot off our minds. When we got to the Hot Spring I asked Torkoal, master of the Hot Spring, where he thought the Lost Loot might be. I asked him this because Torkoal is said to be the wisest and oldest Pokemon around. He said he didn’t know but he suspected it was in an dungeon that has been known for years otherwise the old exploration team wouldn’t have left it there because that dungeon wasn’t discovered in that time.

We went back to Treasure Town in the afternoon and put all our extra money in Duskull Bank. After that we dropped off all our leftover items in the Kangaskhan Storage. We went to the guild and talked to guild members Loudred and Digglet. Dugtrio came along and said, “How’s my son?” and after that it was only me, Sparky, Loudred, and team GoGetters. It was getting late so we said goodnight to Loudred and went back to Sharpedo Bluff. The sun was going down so we were just in time for the sunset. “Beautiful,” I commented. “Ahhhhh,” said Sparky. “Relaxing,” said Cyndiquil and Mudkip together. After the sun went down, we all went to our beds and fell asleep.

The Lost Loot: Shellos and the Snow

We all felt hopeless. Sparky had gone to visit the beach and Cyndiquil and Mudkip had gone with him. Meanwhile I went to the guild. Wigglytuff was as boring as ever and Chatot would only talk about how the Lost Loot was a rumor. I didn’t even bother asking exploration teams for help. And just when I thought all hope was lost, I saw the Job Bulletin Board. A Shellos had just discovered a new mystery dungeon and was asking for a team to explore with it. This was our lucky day! I ran all the way down to the beach and told the rest the good news. They were delighted! We took the job and decided that we would do it the next day.

But the next day it started to snow. The roads in Treasure Town were covered in ice! So the job had to wait until tomorrow. The Shellos was sad to hear the news. That day, we all wore our scarves and watched the sunrise. We played with the snow a little bit but nothing could hide our disappointment. So we tried to walk in Treasure Town. The idea was hopeless; every step you took you would fall down on the ice. So we gave up on that idea and did ice-skating. The only problem was that we weren’t any good at ice-skating. Plus the ice was very bumpy.

The next day was sunny so we took all our leftover provisions from the last adventure and set off with Shellos. The new mystery dungeon was called Tiny Meadow and it was like a great big meadow. Getting to the end was easy. But, we found no Lost Loot. We were all disappointed. It was getting dark when we got to Treasure Town so we all when right to sleep in Sharpedo Bluff.

The Lost Loot: Temporal Tower and Dialga

When I woke up, everything was already set for our trip to Temporal Tower. “Hey,” said Sparky, “You finally woke up,” “Yup,” I answered, “I see that everything is all set,” “Yeah,” he answered back. “So,” he said changing the subject “Ready to go?” “You bet!” I said, and off we went. We all walked down to the beach and Lapras gave us a ride to Temporal Tower. We entered the dungeon. Brick walls and brick floors made up the dungeon. “Hard,” said Sparky as he knocked his fist against the brick wall. “Come on guys,” I said “The Lost Loot, remember?” They all nodded their heads, and we went on.

We were almost to the end of the dungeon when Dialga came into view. “Well,” Dialga said, “If it isn’t my two friends Treecko and Sparky, what a surprise!” “We were just looking for-” Sparky began “You want a battle?” Dialga asked, “Well why didn’t you say so! Let’s begin!” Sparky’s face started to turn red again. He wouldn’t move so Team GoGetters and me defeated and recruited Dialga. It was a marvelous defeat. But, at the end of the dungeon, there was no Lost Loot. We came home back to Sharpedo Bluff empty handed.

Everybody was down because we failed to find the Lost Loot once again. Also because we had been to every single mystery dungeon discovered! Mudkip murmured something about going back to Spacial Rift, but nobody listened. That night everybody stayed up and thought about a solution to our problem.

The Lost Loot: Battling Palkia

“Long time, no see.” Said Palkia. “I know what you what you want, a battle am I right?” “No, we just want to-“ Sparky began. “-No buts,” said Palkia. “A battle it is, let’s begin.” Sparky’s face turned red. “Don’t worry,” I assured him, “We’ll win” and I was right. After recruiting Palkia we went on to the end of the maze. “No Lost Loot,” Sparky said, “No Lost Loot,” I agreed. After the long day, we went back to Sharpedo Bluff to sleep for the night. I tossed and turned that night, because for some reason I couldn’t sleep. Sparky woke up and told me to take it easy. After that I went to asleep.

The next morning I woke to find that it was raining. Sparky was awake too. “Rough morning,” he said, “Yeah,” I agreed. We walked to the guild and said Good-Morning to Wigglytuff and Chatot. “You guys having a rough morning?” Chatot asked “Kind of,” I answered. We went back to Sharpedo Bluff, woke up Cyndiquil and Mudkip, and took them to the guild. We introduced them to Wigglytuff and Chatot, and all the other Pokemon training in the guild. We talked and laughed about our adventures, it was a fine day. The next morning it was still raining. I told Sparky about how the rain was going to delay our search for the Lost Loot. So on that day, we thought about where we would search next. Temporal Tower sounded good so we all decided that that would be a great place to search for the Lost Loot.

The Lost Loot: Team GoGetters Join Up with Team ArtLife

The next day, when we journeyed to Blizzard Island, we met another exploration team. Their team name was Team GoGetters and we were very happy to meet them. The leader of the team was a Cyndiquil and her partner was a Mudkip. They told us about how they were looking for the Lost Loot too. So we teamed up to search for it. We didn’t have much luck though, for we were as hopeless as ever. We invited them to sleep with us in Treasure Town, and they agreed for they were very tired. We made beds for them in Sharpedo Bluff so they could sleep with us. Soon we were all asleep.

The Next Day…

I woke up to find Sparky and Team GoGetters gone! I went outside and was relieved to find that they were just watching the sunrise. Sparky was telling them about how it was sunrise when he met me. I listened and remembered the day when I met Sparky. It was a beautiful sunrise, the Krabby were blowing bubbles that glistened in the sun’s rays. All the sad memories flooded back to me. The time I disappeared, the time when we met Grovyle and left him, and the time when Team Skull stole Sparky’s most prized treasure. Those were the sad memories. But the happy memories were by far the best. After Sparky was done talking, he look at me, eyes shining bright. I looked at him back, and at that very moment we both knew that it was time to look for the Lost Loot once again.

Later…

Team GoGetters had volunteered to go shopping for provisions in Treasure Town. Me and Sparky stayed back to tidy up. It was an easy job so we were done quickly. While we waited for Team GoGetters to come back, I talked to Sparky about where I thought the Lost Loot was. We had plenty of time to talk though I’m not saying that Team GoGetters took a really long time. When Team GoGetters came back, we were all set to go. We were going to search in Spacial Rift this time. We took all our provisions and set off for Spacial Rift. We were nearly towards the end of the dungeon when we ran right into Palkia.

The Lost Loot: WigglyTuff and Dreams

We didn’t listen because we had heard this lecture way too many times, and we did not want to hear it again. If you have ever met Wigglytuff you will be sure to notice that mostly all he talks about is friends and perfect apples. But be sure to keep in mind that when Wigglytuff doesn’t get his perfect apples… the guild just might fall apart if you know what I mean. After talking to Wigglytuff and deciding he was no help, we talked to Chatot, the head of intelligence he called himself. We told him about the Lost Loot, but his only response was, “Squawk! Lost Loot! Those are rumors!” And after that we couldn’t get anything else out of him.
Pikachu a.k.a. Sparky
We went around asking our friends Sunflora and Corfish about the Lost Loot. But their response wasn’t what we expected to hear. After that we decided that we would take the Lost Loot off our minds for a while. But while we slept I had dreams about the Lost Loot. Dreams that we would find it, and dreams where someone else would find it first. I told Sparky about these dreams and, of course, being the calm Pokemon he was, he calmly said that it was nothing. But I wasn’t sure about that.

The Lost Loot

Hi, I’m Treecko, and this is the Pokemon world. Before we start, I probably should tell you a little bit about myself. I’m part of an exploration team. If you have never heard of one it’s one of those teams where Pokemon form a team so they can go on explorations. Well any way, my story starts on a dark and stormy night where I met my friend Sparky, we became great friends and set out on adventures as an exploration team. But, this book is about after all our adventures. It’s about after we defeated Darkri; this book is about the Lost Loot.

Ok, so maybe you have never heard of the Lost Loot, but still, once you’ve heard about it, you will go crazy just to find it. Rumor has it that the Lost Loot was a treasure, left behind by one of those old expertise exploration teams. They say that it contains a lot of gold, silver, and bronze. Oh, that got you interested? Well now you know about the Lost Loot. A lot of exploration teams in Treasure Town were already searching for it. Me and my buddy Sparky were determined to be the first ones to find it.

We were confident we were going to find it. Why? Because we had stopped Darkri’s evil plans, so we thought, why can’t we do something magnificent again? Well, any way, Sparky and me started searching for the Lost Loot in all of the mystery dungeons. Apple Woods, Marine Resort, Miracle Sea, and Zero Isle West. We tried everything! But we didn’t give up hope! This was for the sake of Team Artlife! After that, we started asking Pokemon where they thought the Lost Loot might be. By golly, we even asked Wigglytuff! But he just told us how he loved perfect apples and told us to bring him some. So we traveled to Apple Woods and got perfect apples for Wigglytuff. We expected him to tell us something about the Lost Loot but he just told us how friends color our life.
